How do I care for my jewelry?
CARING AND STORING
Any lotions, deodorants, perfumes, household items can seriously harm your
gold plated jewels and discolour them over time.
We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising,
or washing your hands frequently. Prolonged exposure to water and moisture can reduce
the lifespan of your jewelry.
Store your jewelry pieces individually, you can keep them in our Maktub pouch so
that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle.
Remove jewelry when sleeping.
Always remember that your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the
first thing you take off when dressing.
CLEANING
After wearing, clean your jewelry carefully with a soft, non-abrasive jewelry cloth. This
helps maintain or bring back its shine.
Can I personalize my Maktub jewelry?
Yes.
Can I return personalized or custom-made items?
Custom or personalized items are not eligible for return under EU law. This is clearly
stated in the return policy.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item arrived
damaged or faulty in which case, we’ll take care of it.
